The signs of aging can be visibly reduced. Clients report smoother looking skin which helps the appearance of their fine lines, skin is more luminous looking and there is a visible reduction in pores. Skin is more hydrated and feels plumper.

Who can perform the Dermatude Microneedling treatment?

Meta Therapy is a treatment that can be carried out by licensed estheticians only.

What is Dermatude Microneedling?

Dermatude Meta Therapy combines the benefits of several skin rejuvenation methods all in one unique technique. Dermatude makes microscopic holes in the skin’s surface and will stimulate collagen and elastin production. This will reduce fine lines and wrinkles, decrease pore size, and decrease pigment and scars.

What areas can be treated with the Dermatude?

Treatment for the face, neck and décolleté area helps the appearance of fine lines by smoothing texture and reducing the appearance of pores. It also hydrates the skin, face, neck and décolleté area.

Why Does Meta Therapy Work?

The skin starts showing the first signs of aging from the age of 25. Skin becomes thinner, blood circulation deteriorates, and the natural production of collagen and elastin starts to slow down, causing the skin to lose its firmness and elasticity.

This natural aging process starts from the inside out but is also accelerated by external factors, including excess UV light, air conditioning, stress and stimulants such as alcohol and tobacco.

  • Smoothes skin, helping improve the appearance of fine lines.
  • Healthier looking skin
  • Helps reduce the appearance of pores
  • Décolleté
  • Dark circles under the eye
  • Anti-aging
  • Neck

Why should I choose Dermatude Microneedling Meta Therapy instead of a Needle Roller?

Meta therapy is completely non-invasive and does not penetrate living tissue so it does not cause bleeding. In a trial, users reported no discomfort when treated with Meta therapy. The treatment has no real downtime. After treatment, your skin will be red, but this will subside within a couple of hours – you can then reapply your makeup.

What are the differences between Meso Therapy and Dermatude Microneedling Meta Therapy?

Meso Therapy is a procedure that requires only one needle. The injections with the active ingredients are administered in specific areas, but the distance and depth of the injections cannot be controlled. Because of the larger distance and the limited number of injections, Meso Therapy does not activate the natural cell regeneration of the skin. Neither does it activate the production of collagen and elastin.

Why should I choose Dermatude Microneedling Meta Therapy instead of Meso Therapy?

Unlike Meso therapy that targets specific areas of the face, Meta Therapy treats the whole of the face easily and efficiently giving a uniform result.

Who is Meta Therapy For?

With Meta Therapy it is possible to perform different kinds of treatments: you can opt for skin improvement and anti-aging of the whole face, neck and/or décolletage, as well as targeted treatments of specific areas and, help smooth the appearance of fine lines. Why should I choose Dermatude Meta Therapy?

Clients can wear makeup again the next day

What about the recovery period of their skin and wearing makeup?

Contrary to other treatments, Meta Therapy does not affect the skin’s protective barrier. After the treatment, the skin may show some minor redness, but this will reduce in a matter of hours. You will be able to get back to your daily activities immediately after the treatment and wear make-up the following day.

Which areas may be treated with Meta Therapy?

You can opt for skin improvement and anti-aging of the whole face, neck and/or décolletage, as well as targeted treatments of specific areas which will help smooth the appearance of fine lines. It is even possible to combine treatments to achieve the best result.

What will be the treatment interval?

The treatment always starts with a course of 4 weekly treatments, followed by 4 treatments every 2 weeks, and afterward, a periodical maintenance treatment to maintain the achieved result. The full facial treatment takes approximately 45 minutes.

What are the differences between a Needle Roller and Meta Therapy?

A needle roller is a cylinder with needles that are rolled over the skin. The face is not a flat plane but contains areas that are rounded and curved. Therefore, not all needles of the roller penetrate the skin to the same depth. Another factor to take into account is how hard the roller is pressed. When too much pressure is applied, the needles penetrate too deeply, which may result in scar tissue and skin rigidity Meta therapy is not an invasive treatment like needle rolling, it does not penetrate living tissue. Meta Therapy is non-invasive and uses specially developed polycarbonate modules that remove dead skin cells of the stratum corneum.

What are the differences between Micro-Needling with a Roller and Dermatude Microneedling?

Micro-needling like needle rollers create thousands of perforations in the skin, leading to a localized wound healing response. The treatment is invasive and requires the use of topical anesthesia. There is significant downtime of between 5-8 days after a micro-needling procedure. The patient will need to wear protective sunblock and avoid the sun. Meta therapy is completely non-invasive and there is no discomfort and because it only removes the superficial layers of the skin called the stratum corneum it doesn’t cause bleeding and therefore has no real downtime. After treatment, your skin will be slightly red, but this will subside within a couple of hours – you can then reapply to makeup.

Can I have Dermatude Microneedling if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?

It is not recommended to have this treatment while pregnant and or breastfeeding.

Are there any contraindications to Dermatude Microneedling?

Dermatude should be avoided if there is an active skin infection or cold sore. You should not have this treatment if you have used any Retinol product in the last thirty days. You should use caution if you have thin skin, Diabetes or take blood thinners. This should be discussed with your provider prior to your treatment.
