Questions?

Read our frequently asked questions below to see if you can find the answer you're looking for!

What is Vollure?

Vollure is a hyaluronic acid filler that is used for midface softening of lines and commonly used in the nasolabial folds, marionette lines and lips.

How much does it cost?

Vollure is priced per 1 ml syringe and costs around $650. Many times more than one syringe is needed for optimal results. We are happy to discuss this with you during your free consultation.

What is Vollure made of?

Vollure is made from hyaluronic acid which is a naturally occurring substance that is found in our skin and joints. It naturally will increase the moisture in our skin as well.

How many syringes will I need?

Each client has different goals, anatomy, and budget. Many new Vollure clients will need two or more syringes. This can be discussed in a personalized consultation where we will create a beauty plan together to achieve the look you desire.

How long does it last?

Vollure will last up to 18 months.

Does it hurt?

Injections to the mid and lower face may be slightly uncomfortable. It may feel like a bee sting with a slight burning sensation. A topical anesthetic is applied prior to injection to reduce pain. Allergan also mixes lidocaine into all the fillers to reduce pain during and after the treatment.

What can I do to prevent bruising?

Bruising can be minimized by avoiding anything that can thin the blood 5 days prior to treatment. These things are NSAIDs, vitamin E, fish oils, and alcoholic beverages. Ice can be applied after the treatment to further shorten the lifespan of the bruise.

What should I do if I bruise?

You should apply ice to the area and avoid rubbing it. You should also avoid NSAID, vitamin E, fish oil or alcoholic beverages for 5 days after your treatment.

How long is a Vollure treatment?

A Vollure treatment is about one hour and you will walk out looking younger since it starts working right away. Some clients prefer to pick up the topical anesthetic prior to apply at home and reduce the time in the office. This can be arranged when scheduling.

Are there any restrictions after my treatment?

After having filler, you should avoid having a facial, massage or laser procedure for 2 weeks. You should avoid rubbing the area but may apply our normal skincare and make-up. You should avoid NSAIDs, vitamin E, fish oils, and alcoholic beverages for 4 days to decrease your chance of bruising. We also recommend sleeping on your back and avoiding stomach sleeping.

Will I need follow up after my Vollure treatment?

We recommend a follow up two weeks after your treatment to ensure a smooth result.

Will my face look overdone or unnatural?

We are known for a very natural-looking result and will not make you look overdone. Our goal is to make people notice but not know what you have done.

Where can we inject Vollure?

Vollure is FDA approved for the correction of the nasolabial folds (smile lines) and marionette lines. It, however, can be used in the chin and lips but is considered off label.

What kind of training do the injectors have?

The injectors at Deja Vu have undergone numerous hands-on training provided by injection specialists and have many years of experience.

Who can administer Vollure?

Vollure should be administered by a licensed medical professional that is trained in facial anatomy and injection techniques.

Can you get Vollure while pregnant?

It is not recommended.

Can you get Vollure while breastfeeding?

It is not recommended.

Can you work out after Vollure injections?

You should wait 24 hours before doing any activity that can increase blood flow to the skin to minimize bruising.

How can I save on Vollure?

You can save on your Vollure by enrolling in the Brilliant Distinctions Reward program. We also offer a membership program that will reduce your per syringe price.

Is Vollure only for women?

No way. Aesthetic

Do I need to be over 40 to start using Vollure?

Vollure can be started at any age if you have started to develop lines at rest in your lower face.
