Hi, I’m Dr. Dursteler or as my clients call me, Dr. D! I am the co-owner and Medical Director for Déjà Vu Med Spa. I am an Emergency Physician with over 30 years of experience and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society. I graduated from the Uniformed Services University, F. Edward Hébert School of Medicine in 1992. As an active duty Air Force officer, I served as a general medical officer, flight surgeon, and then as emergency medicine physician at Luke AFB. I was also the Chief of Staff and Emergency Department Medical Director at the Abrazo West Hospital Level 1 Trauma Center in Goodyear, Arizona.  I was selected by my peers for many years as an Arizona “Top Doctor”. I now serve as a Colonel in the Arizona Air National Guard and as the Deputy State Air Surgeon for Arizona. 

My passion for skin health, weight management, and hormone balancing comes from my own personal experiences. Growing up, I struggled with acne, and it wasn’t until I discovered the right med spa treatments and skin care regime that I saw real improvements. Those experiences made me realize how much these treatments can truly change lives.

My wife and I decided to open Deja Vu Med Spa because we wanted to help others facing similar challenges with their skin, weight, and overall wellness. With many years of experience in medicine, I’m dedicated to helping men and women achieve their health, wellness, and appearance goals—whether it's clearing up skin issues, managing weight, or balancing hormones.

I’m passionate about helping people feel and look their best, and I love seeing the confidence boost these treatments can provide!

I love the outdoors and spending time with my wife, six children, four grandchildren, & three dogs. I also speak German.
